Achieving Environmental Sustainability in a Resource Hungry World

The 2010 IUAPPA Congress theme of "Achieving Environmental Sustainability in a Resource Hungry World" recognizes the need for holistic management approaches to effectively mitigate potential water, food, energy, and environmental challenges. This Congress will bring together specialists from academia, industry, consulting, environmental advocacy groups, and government to present innovative ways to improve air quality, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and minimize environmental impacts. The program will examine international, national, and local-scale issues facing both emerging and developed economies.

• Author Notifications: May 1, 2010

• Final Paper Deadline: July 30, 2010

• Conference Early Registration Deadline: August 17, 2010

Abstract Selection

Abstracts of 250 words or less should be submitted via the online abstract management system by March 12, 2010. Instructions can be found on the conference Web site at www.iuappa2010.com. Contributed abstracts will undergo critical review for originality, technical content, objectivity, and absence of commercialism. Authors of abstracts approved for presentation will be notified of acceptance by May 1, 2010. Accepted papers are required to be submitted in the Congress format by July 30, 2010. Any author who does not meet all published deadlines and requirements may forfeit their opportunity to present the paper at the conference, and it will not be included in the conference proceedings.
